Social Media Marketing Intern

Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring social media signals and engaging when appropriate
  • Collaborate with clients, designers and marketing team to create compelling finished materials to support overall content strategy
  • Create social media content
  • Develop and implement social media strategy including Facebook, Twitter, blogs, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.
  • Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. This includes writing copy, planning social media content calendars, publishing content, channel moderation/engagement, community-outreach efforts, blog writing, promotions, and reporting/analytics.
  • Be an internal and external advocate of the company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering questions where appropriate. This includes education of internal teams and customers.
  • Responsible for clients’ social media reporting. This includes analyzing, reviewing and reporting on effectiveness of the strategy.
  • Records social media leads in internal lead system.
  • Recommends social media marketing strategies.

Required Experience:

  • Self-starter approach toward work with an eagerness to consistently meet and exceed objectives and take on more responsibility
  • In-depth knowledge, understanding and experience with Social Media Platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and similar)
  • Must be flexible and have the ability to take direction well
  • Excellent writing skills and the ability to write content
  • Strong writing, proofreading and editing skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong creative skills
  • Good technical understanding with the ability to pick up new tools quickly
  • Sense of humor that translates to writing
  • An incredibly fast learner

Education:

  • High School Diploma required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred
  • Great analytical and quantitative abilities

Front-End Developer

This position is available for professionals as well as students with the following qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop functional and appealing web and mobile applications based on usability
  • Provide website maintenance and enhancements
  • Use a combination of markup languages to write web pages
  • Create quality mockups and prototypes in tight timelines
  • Assist back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting as required
  • Create CSS files that are consistent across all browsers and platforms
  • Maintain graphic standards and branding throughout the product’s interface
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging font-end technologies
  • Promote usability best practices

Required Experience:

  • Experience with web languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
  • Basic understanding of server side languages including Java and PhP

Back-End Developer

Responsibilities:

  • Develop functional web and mobile applications based on usability
  • Provide website maintenance and enhancements
  • Follow-through from project inception through design to detailed completion
  • Iterate on solutions based on internal and external (customer) feedback
  • Develop end-to-end data management solutions including database schema and performance tuning.
  • Create open and re-usable web application components
  • Be self-directed and be able to prioritize your own workload
  • Participate in design process, gathering requirements with other engineers and designers
  • Assist front-end developers with coding and troubleshooting as required
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
  • Promote usability best practices

Required Experience:

  • Experience with languages such as JAVA, PHP, SQL
  • Experience with Apple and Android mobile application development
  • Experience with version control such as GIT, SVN or CVS
  • Experience with relational database design 
  • Basic understanding of front-end languages including HTML and JavaScript
  • Basic understanding of design patterns
  • Must be flexible and have the ability to take direction well
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong creative skills
  • Good technical understanding with the ability to pick up new tools quickly
  • An incredibly fast learner
  • MYSQL Workbench and PhpMyAdmin knowledge is a plus
  • J2EE Technologies such as Spring, Struts, and Hibernate is a plus
  • Build deployment and management tools such as Jenkins is plus
